Michael Cook Michael Cook, was educated at Cambridge and the School of Oriental and African Studies in the University of London. In 1986 he took up a position at Princeton, where he is now Class of 1943 University Professor of Near Eastern Studies. His publicatios include OUP's Very Short Introductions to the Koran and Mohammed.
