Michael Billington MICHAEL BILLINGTON is a local historian who contributes to the Urmston History Society Facebook page and has started two of his own entitled A New History of Urmston, Flixton and Davyhulme and Urmston, Flixton and Davyhulme Virtual Museum. Michael ha written record and concert reviews for a few music magazines and produced and presented an hour-long programme on folk and world music for five years on BBC Radio Manchester before going into independent radio.
