Michael A. DoroshCorporal Michael A. Dorosh, CD, began his service with the Calgary Highlanders as an army cadet from 1984 to 1987, during which time he learned to play bagpipes. Dorosh joined the Regimental Pipes and Drums during his studies at the University of Calary, from which he graduated with Bachelor of Arts degrees in history and communications. He has published several volumes on the subject of Canadian military history, including The Hard Luck Division: A History of the 2nd Canadian Division in the Second World War, and in 2023 completed thirty-six uninterrupted years of service with the Calgary Highlanders.
