He wrote the award-winning San Antonio Independent Film Festival screenplay for the cult-classic film Claustrophobia (2008), wrote the short film Secrecy and a Sweet Hereafer, and earned honors for his script, Return to Everlong at the New Orleans Film Festival. He's the author of 5-Minutes, the literary non-fiction, Jane's Addiction: Shockingly Habitual, and the historical fiction novel, Wrights' Flight Four.
