Melvyn C. GoldsteinMelvyn C. Goldstein born February 8, 1938 is an American social anthropologist and Tibet scholar. He is a professor of anthropology at Case Western Reserve University and a member of the National Academy of Sciences and William R. Siebenschuh graduatd from Grinnell College in 1964. He went to graduate school at the University of California and got my MA in 1966 and my PhD in 1970. William R. Siebenschuh first job was at Fordham in 1971. He came to Case—Western Reserve College then—in 1978 and He retired from The College of Arts and Sciences at the end of spring semester in 2018. He spent almost forty years watching the English Department, the college, the university, the city of Cleveland, my family, and myself change and grow. And Tashi Tsering was born in 1960. He is a founding director of the Amnye Machen Institute. He is also affiliated with the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives, and editor of several Tibetan journals, including the Journal of Tibet.Tashi Tsering studied at the Central School for Tibetans Dalhousie in northern India from 1963 to 1971.
