After years of watching and working with an uncle, who is a carpenter, she was always amazed at the power of creating something from scratch. Itching for a change, she started her own company (Clever Girl Originals). Whether working with wood, painting, photography and now children's book author and illustrator, you can catch Melissa selling her many creations at Craft Fairs across her home state.
