He wandered the high wilderness ridges to lakes that held snow int summer. He fished the Scott River after school and hunted the mountain meadows in the fall. He felt the touch of a melting snowflake upon his cheek walking to school in the winter. In the process, he not only became more aware of the land but of the Lord who created it.
