Max Amato
Max Amato is the author and illustrator of several picture books. His stories use uncommon characters to explore themes that defined his childhood: perfectionism, companionship, identity, creativity, competitiveness, and of course, dinosaurs.
Max grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, and studied graphic design at Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia before moving to Brooklyn, NY, where he lives in an apartment with lots of character but no washer/dryer.
