Matthew HartmanMatthew Hartman is a doctoral candidate in ethics at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. His research engages critical ethical questions at the intersection of religion, identity, and culture within the broader environmenta humanities. Matthew’s dissertation examines the cultural implications of climate change denial in environmental imaginaries, with particular attention to the role of religion and race in shaping identity construction and maintenance on the American right.
