Mathieu MariolleBorn in 1978 in Paris, Mathieu Mariolle is a comic book writer who, from an early age, has been immersed in Franco-Belgian classics such as Blueberry, The Incal, and Les Passagers du Vent.

After studies and a career as a translaor, in 2004 he signed Pixie, his first book, drawn by Aurore Demily and published by Delcourt. He then worked on a variety of different series including the crime thriller De sang froid (Delcourt), the comic book adaptation of Foot 2 Rue (Soleil), the spin-off saga Les Mondes de Thorgal - Kriss de Valnor (Le Lombard), as well as the eponymous albums of the video artist Nota Bene (Soleil), specializing in historical popularization.
