He is the author or co-author of over 150 scientific articles in various journals. Dr Conese’s major research interest is studying the use of mesenchymal stem cells and exosomes derived thereof as therapeutic interventions in cystic fibrosis airway epithelium for correction of basic defects and in skin repair to treat chronic and hard-to-heal wounds.
