Mary K PershallMary K Pershall was born in the mid-west of United States. After finishing university, Mary emigrated to Australia and teached English to migrants at a Melbourne high school. She then became an editor and writer for Pursuit, a magazine published for teenagers by the Victorian Ministry of Education.
