Mary BubMary Bub is a grassroots activist, social innovator, author, artist, and photographer. She is the co-founder, past president, and currently an advisor of Wisconsin Rural Women's Initiative, a nonprofit organization that provides on-site grassroots prgrams to individual women and organizations through a Gathering Circle process promoting personal development, transformation, and systemic change. She is the winner of the Social Innovation Prize in Wisconsin for 2008, A Purpose Prize Fellow with Civic Ventures, a recipient of the Feminarian Award, and a winner of Wisconsin's Top Rural Development Initiatives. In addition to Letters to Betty at 80, Mary is the author of "Letters to Betty" and "And So It Goes." Mary is a widow, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, facilitator of a small circle of Kindreds, and Officiant of Memorial Services.
