Martin Jacques

Martin Jacques is the author of the global bestseller When China Rules the World: the End of the Western World and the Birth of a New Global Order. He is a visiting senior research fellow at the London School of Economics, a visitig professor at Tsinghua University, Beijing, and a fellow of the Transatlantic Academy, Washington, DC. Previously, he was the editor of Marxism Today, deputy editor of the Independent, and a columnist for the Sunday Times in London; he has also written for a number of publications worldwide. A well-known public speaker, he has given lectures at many of the world's top universities and corporations, including Harvard, Cornell, UCLA, USC, Cambridge, Oxford, Bank of America, Shell, BNP Paribas, BBC, and many others. He lives in London with his son.
