Martin Haug

Martin Haug (1827–1876) was a German orientalist and scholar of ancient Indian and Iranian languages. He is best known for his work on Zoroastrianism and the Avesta, the sacred texts of the Parsis. His research laid the foundation for modern undertanding of Parsi religious literature and history.
