Marta Alberti

Marta Alberti is Deputy Director of Excavations at the Vindolanda Trust, and has worked on Hadrian's Wall for seven years. She holds an MA in Archaeology and is undertaking a PhD at Newcastle University. She has published in her fields ofspecialism: volunteering in archaeology, Vindolanda, and textile implements on the frontier and their relationship to female identity.
