Mark V PikeMark Pike’s fascination with Bulleid Pacifics was instilled in him at the age of 5, when his father took him to Poole station (Dorset) at the very end of steam workings in 1967. Later in life he worked on the railway as a leading trackman. The memoris of these fine locomotives have never faded, thanks largely to the fantastic efforts of preservationists.
