Mark Eliot NuckolsMark Eliot Nuckols spent six years of his youth in Slovakia, where he became so carried away with the local music, he sang in several choruses. Now he performs and translates Czech and Slovak folk and popular songs on Virginia's Eastern Shore. His trnslation work includes volunteering for the websites Watching America and Rights in Russia, and helping people of Central European ancestry connect with their family's past.
