Marie A. WrightMarie A. Wright, Ph.D., is a professor of Management Information Systems at Western Connecticut State University. There, she developed the nation's first undergraduate course in information systems security, and she led the implementation of the naton's first interdisciplinary undergraduate program in information security management, within a school of business. She received her Ph.D. in Information and Control Systems from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst. She has been actively involved in the field of information systems security/information assurance for more than fifteen years. She has authored numerous articles and book chapters, and she is a frequent speaker at information security conferences, colloquia and symposia.
