She runs Seven Brushstrokes, an online teaching resource and popular Instagram account. Maricar learned to do calligraphy in 2017 while working as an engineerand looking for a break from her everyday routine. She is a self-taught calligrapher and brush artist who runs video tutorials and virtual workshops for students all over the world.
