Previously, he worked as a consultant at TXT Polymedia, a software vendor and integrator specializing in media and channel integration. From 2005 to 2008, he was an assistant professor at Free University of Bolzano-Bozen. In 2006, he received a PhD in electronic and computer engineering from the University of Genova.
