Mamata DashMamata Dash is an acclaimed Odia author, poet, and translator who has been writing for more than five decades across almost every genre of Odia literature. She has published twelve poetry collections, four short story collections, one novel, three esay collections, and an original book in English. Her remarkable contribution as a translator includes fourteen translated works from Bengali and English into Odia.For her immense contribution to the literary world of Odisha, she has received several prestigious honours, including the Odisha Sahitya Akademi Award, Bhasha Parishad National Award, Bishuba Puraskara, Bhanuji Rao Poetry Award, Jhankara Poetry Award, and Godabarisha Sahitya Samman, among many others.
