Malte Petersen

Born on 31 October 1976 in Düsseldorf, Dr Malte Petersen studied law at the Universities of Passau and Freiburg i.Br. He has worked extensively on environmental and energy law and has written a doctors thesis on environmental liability in Germany nd the implementation of the Environmental Liability Directive (2004/35/EC). Malte Petersen obtained a Master of Laws degree (LLM) in Energy and Environmental Law from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium. He worked from 2005 to 2012 at the Düsseldorf office of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek specializing in environmental and energy law. Currently, he is working with the Federal Network Agency for Electricity, Gas, Telecommunications, Post and Railway (Bundesnetzagentur für Elektrizität, Gas, Telekommunikation, Post und Eisenbahnen) in Bonn.
