Malek AlsmadiDr. Malek Alsmadi is a dedicated researcher and professor with a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Lakehead University, Canada, and a Master's in Communication and Computer Engineering from UKM University, Malaysia. He is currently a ull-time professor at the School of Engineering Technology, Confederation College, Thunder Bay, Ontario, and an adjunct professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Lakehead University. He teaches a range of courses, including Programming, Networking, and Operating Systems. Dr. Alsmadi's research focuses on wireless communications, network security, and the impact of hardware impairments on advanced communication systems, contributing to numerous IEEE journal and conference publications. He has received several prestigious awards, including the Dean's Scholar Award and the President's International Scholarship. In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Alsmadi has extensive experience in supervising Ph.D. students, leading research teams, and writing funding proposals for organizations like NSERC and NDRIO-Portage.
