Macro RosaClotProf. Giuseppe Marco Tina is a Full Professor of power systems at the University of Catania (UdC), in Italy. He completed his MS (1988) and PhD (1988) in electrical engineering at the University of Catania. He has a robust industrial background in gip Refineries and ST Microelectronics in Italy, between 1993 and 1996. Prof. Tina teaches courses mainly for the Electrical Engineering MSc and in 2012 was awarded the Diploma di Excelentia in teaching and research in power systems the from University “Stefan cel Mare,” Suceava, Romania. He has been invited as a Professor at Aix-Marseille University, University Jules Verne Amiens and, Université de Corse, in France. He has been member of IEA Task 60 on PVT systems and IEA PVPS IEA Task 15. He is the author of more than 300 works published in international journals and proceedings, on power system analysis, distributed generation, PV system analysis, and modeling.
