He is an Associate of The European Society for the Study of Western Esotericism (ESSWE). He has published academic ppers on both legal and esoteric matters. His focus is on Rosicrucianism, early Masonic organisation and occult symbolism. A member of the Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia, in 2018 he was awarded the prestigious Order of the Companions of Christian Rosenkreutz (CCR) award for a series of papers on 'The Lessons of Lyons'.
