M E HembroffM. E. Hembroff grew up in rural Manitoba. She created many games and activities during her childhood. Many years later she started to have strange dreams about books with blank pages and nothing on the covers. An artist friend told her she was supposd to write the stories and create the covers. At that time, Gramma Mouse Tells a Story was born and the idea for Bess's Magical Garden surfaced. Since then she has written several other books.
