M C JacksonM. C. Jackson (Christine) wrote her first story when she was fourteen years old. Being shy at the time, she never showed it to anyone. She continued to write short stories, but it was only for her personal enjoyment. She earned a bachelor's and a maser's degree in geology from Louisiana State University, and worked thirty-six years as a geologist. She wrote technical reports and manuals as a scientist; however, she continued to write fiction at home. Christine, now retired, lives in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Drawing on experiences gained as a child, teen and adult from eighteen moves in eight states in the south and west, she knows that there are no stereotypes exclusive to certain regions. However, she noted nuances of placeinfluenced attitudes in people, and uses these to create rich characters. Christine travels domestically and abroad, scuba dives and kayaks with friends and family.
