M C AbusharM. C. Abushar is an author, artist, educator, and pianist. She holds a B.A. in art and a graduate certificate in etching from Hornsey College of Art, London, UK. Driven by a commitment to providing quality education for children, she earned a doctorae degree in K-12 Education Administration from Pepperdine University at Malibu, California. During the four years of doctoral class attendance, while simultaneously holding the position of principal at a primary parochial school in Los Angeles, she wrote Living God's Truth as notes to herself on how to take on daily challenges successfully. In her role as principal, she mastered conversation skills with young children. She left the position of principal to write and illustrate picture storybooks for children aged three to eight. Each title in the 'Tyler the Rabbit' series has won the Mom's Choice Award(R) for excellence, and a five-star rating by Online Book Club. Tyler models exemplary joyful service to another in difficulty. As pianist, M. C. Abushar performed the Nocturne Op. 24, No. 6, known as "Le Lac de Côme." It is posted on YouTube.
