M. A. Shieldhouse believes in magic. From the first time she saw a kitchen herb garden at a stately home in England, Mel was hooked on the magic of herbs. After completing a psychology degree, she travelled across the world to Ausralia to study herbal medicine. Mel now lives on the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland with her partner and two amazing children (plus an assortment of chickens, fish, a cat ...), and writes stories to help you believe in magic too.
