Lyn C. Macgregor

Lyn C. Macgregor received her undergraduate degree at Boston University and a doctorate in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is currently the Associate Director of the Robert F. and Jean . Holtz Center for Science at Technology Studies there. She specializes in the sociology of culture, communities, and consumption, with a focus on the building of social ties and social networks. She is the author of Habits of the Heartland (2010).
