Luk KnapenLuk Knapen graduated in 1974 as a civil engineer in Construction Engineering and finished the Applied Mathematics Engineering program in 1979 both at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (K.U.Leuven). He worked in software industry developing distributd realtime monitoring systems and engineering applications in the fields of construction engineering and transportation. Currently he is a Ph.D. student at IMOB (Hasselt University, Belgium). His current research focuses on algorithms to handle schedule adaptation and cooperation in activity based models.
