Lucy ChronicGrowing up and traveling around the world with two parents who had PhDs in geology, Lucy Chronic participated in discussions and adventures focusing on her parents' amazingly varied interests. She earned a BA in geology from Carleton College in Minneota and an MS in paleontology from the University of Wyoming. She has worked as an archaeologist, educator, scientific writer, fire lookout, and interpreter in state and national parks. She and her mom, Halka Chronic, coauthored the second editions of Pages of Stone: Geology of the Grand Canyon and Plateau Country National Parks and Monuments. Lucy, Halka, and her sister, Felicie, coauthored the second edition of Roadside Geology of Utah.
