Lowell Charles Everson

Lowell Everson is a graduate of Michigan State University with post graduate degrees from Catholic University of America. Upon graduation he served four years as pianist and arranger for The United States Army Chorus in Washington, D.C., travelingextensively and giving a number of command performances as the White House.

As a teacher for thirty years in Livonia, his choirs and ensembles were consistently judged outstanding and selected as state champions and performing artists at the Mid-West Music conferences. In 1972, Les Jeunesses Musicales De France invited his choir to participate in their national festival. He was teacher of the year in 1979 and was recently honored as a member emeritus by the Michigan School Vocal Music Association.

Lowell is presently composing and arranging for college, church, and children's choirs in addition to giving workshops and recording for publishing companies.

Lowell is married to Millie, a voice teacher and president of Classical Bells. They have four children, four grandchildren, and love to travel.
