Louise Carson

Dog Poems is Louise Carson's tenth published book. She also writes mysteries and historical fiction. Her previous poetry collection is A Clearing. Her work appears in many literary magazines both in print and online, and in The Bet Canadian Poetry in English 2013. One of her novels - In Which - was shortlisted in 2019 for a Québec Writers' Federation prize. Her most recent mystery is The Cat Between. A life-long musician, she played jazz piano, sang opera and taught. Born in Montréal, she now makes her home in rural Québec. She has one daughter, two cats and a dog.
