Lones James

Lones James is a poet, former WTUL DJ, journalist and all around wordsmith. Lones graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing from the University of New Orleans. Growing up beside Bayou Segnette and the son of a ferryboat captain, Lones draws upon his personal experiences living life by the water in writing his Louisiana-centric children’s stories. Lones and his wife Reagan were inspired by their two young children to write Goodnight Baby Alligator, a whimsical bedtime bayou adventure.
