Lisa feels out of all the things she has been through, she still has joy. She does not allow the circumstances f her past to dictate the promises of her future. Lisa shares her experiences to encourage and motivate young girls and women to embrace authenticity and search for healing and wholeness in their minds, through her ministry, It's A Girl's Thing, LLC. She also challenges them to strive for success, chase their dreams, and fulfill God's purpose for their lives. Lisa is a Director of Human Resources at a local upscale Continuing Care Retirement Community. She holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management, Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management (HR concentration), and Associate of Arts in Accounting. Lisa is pursuing her Doctor of Minister of Christian Counseling Degree, to better serve her community in her spare time. Lisa has a genuine passion to help others. As a young lady and single mom who faced homelessness many times, she developed a passion to help the homeless. She has unselfishly fed and provided clothing to the homeless on a monthly basis for three (3) consecutive years, where she was respected for her service and good home-cooked meals. Lisa continues to serve the homeless through feedings, clothing, and blanket drives. Lisa is an advocate for mental health. She is a member of NAMI and Mental Health Coordinator at her church. She has hosted several successful community mental health events. Lisa is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated West Palm Beach Alumnae Chapter.
