Lisa EzzardLisa Ezzard, as a long-time poet, is a member of the Squaw Valley Community of Writers and has received grants to write at Casa Don Miguel in Patzcuaro, Mexico, and at Hambidge Art Center in the Smoky Mountains. She has taught, edited, and performed oetry in a wide variety of venues throughout California. She has published in many literary journals and anthologies, including Appalachian Heritage, The Squaw Valley Review, From the Web: A Global Anthology of Women's Political Poetry, and Appalachian Adventure: From Georgia to Maine A Spectacular Journey on the Great American Trail. After teaching language, literature and dance in California for twenty-two years, she returned to her family farm in the Appalachians of North Georgia to become the sixth generation on Tiger Mountain, where she grows grapes and makes wine.
