Lilith NormanLilith Norman (1927–2017) was a well-known author from Sydney, Australia. She worked as a bookshop assistant and librarian, and joined the editorial staff of the NSW School Magazine in 1975. Lilith turned to writing full-time in 1978 and won mny awards. Her book Climb a Lonely Hill was commended for the Book of the Year in 1971’s Children’s Book Council of Australia awards, A Dream of Seas was the IBBY Honour Book for 1990 and Grandpa was the 1999 Honour Book for the CBCA awards.
