Lichtenstein B NinaNina Lichtenstein is a native of Oslo, Norway, and has studied in Norway, France, Israel and the U.S. She holds a PhD in French literature from the University of Connecticut, and is pursuing her MFA in creative writing at University of Southern Maine Her research and publications focus on Jewish identity, and specifically Jewish literature and culture concerning Jews with origins from North Africa and the Middle East, and her creative writing is mostly nonfiction, but she is also working on a novel set in Norway during the Second World War.
