Libby McKechnieLibby has been a visual arts teacher in both public and private high schools in Ottawa, Ontario for more than thirty years. She also taught art in a Montessori school for ten years.

She has painted in oils, acrylics for many years and has been working in watercolour for over five years. Poetry came later in her life after starting a poetry/writing group where like minded friends could gather and read their poetry and discuss ideas.
