Leslie BainsLeslie E. Bains has been a resident and visitor to Nantucket since the late 1970s. She was President of the Nantucket Theater Workshop and is on the Board of the Nantucket Lighthouse School. Leslie had a distinguished forty plus year career in privat banking and investments and was the highest-ranking woman as Senior Executive Vice President of HSBC. She was also president of AFS International, the largest student exchange program in the world with offices in fifty countries. Throughout her career, Leslie has been involved as a corporate director and trustee of many companies and nonprofits.
