Le Net

Dr Le Net is a Partner of LNT & Partners and has more than seventeen years of legal practice experience. His practice areas include contract, property and infrastructure, mergers and acquisitions, tax, competition, banking and finance. He hs also been active in academia, having taught law at Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, London School of Economics and University of the West of England (Bristol). He is also a member of the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre where he arbitrated more than fifteen arbitration cases. Net has been recommended by many lawyers ranking organizations, including Chambers Global, International Financial Law Review and Legal 500 in the field of corporate and M&A, banking & finance, infrastructure and property.

Net worked with Baker & McKenzie Ho Chi Minh City since 1998 before becoming a co-founder of LNT & Partners. He has also practiced as a foreign lawyer at Baker & McKenzie Brussels and San Francisco, and at Clifford Chance Brussels. Together with other members of LNT & Partners, Net has been the lead adviser on many major transactions involving investments, banking/finance, construction and infrastructure. He is in charge of banking/finance and property/infrastructure practice groups in the office. His signature clients are major multinational and large Vietnamese corporations.

Apart from practice, Net has published various works on law in Vietnam and abroad. He is the author of the Vietnam's Contract, Corporate Law and Intellectual Property monographs in the International Encyclopaedia of Laws (Kluwer Law International, 1999) - the first English written academic law book on Vietnam law after the war, and a number of articles published in the European Competition Law Review, World CompetitionandReview of Economic Research on Copyright Issues. In 2006, Net published three textbooks in Vietnam on Contract Law, Law and Economics and Intellectual Property Law. In 2009, he edited theVietnam - A Foreign Investment Guidebookof Labour Law Publishing House (written by members of LNT & Partners).
