Laurie Mintz

Laurie Mintz, Ph.D., is a retired college professor from the University of Florida, has received numerous professional and teaching awards, and is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and a Forbes 50-over-50 (2023 honoree). She has published over fifty research studies, and has been quoted extensively in Parenting, Cosmopolitan, Prevention, Woman’s Day, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, CNN.com, Oprah.com, and The Huffington Post. She’s credited with popularizing the term “orgasm gap” with her award-wining and bestselling prior book, Becoming Cliterate.
