Lauren Liebstein Singer, M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD is a speech-language pathologist, currently working for the New York City Department of Education. Lauren is licensed by New York State as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSLD) and as a Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). Lauren has been trained in Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related Communication Handicapped Children (TEACCH) as well as Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT).

She has an extensive background working with children in early intervention and school-based settings with a variety of speech and language based disabilities. Lauren has worked with students towards developing and using form, content, and use of language skills as well as articulation and phonology deficits. Lauren strives to develop functional and meaningful speech and language skills with all of her students for multiple communicative purposes.

Lauren lives in New York with her husband and enjoys a nice balance of activity and relaxation, namely: cooking, reading, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.
