Laura Stitzel

Laura was raised among animals, bushland and books on the outskirts of Melbourne. She has worked as an animator and background artist in the television industry in both Australia and Canada since 2009. Her art has appeared in animated series by Waner Bros, Disney, PBS, Adult Swim and many more - including Emmy Award winning episodes of the beloved series, Arthur.

Laura is now an author/illustrator. Her books include Mr Mo Starts to Grow and Moonlight Mums. Her illustrations are a mixture of ink and watercolour. Her favourite things to draw are trees, Australian animals, and anyone eating a snack.
