Laura StagnoVenezuelan artist and Illustrator who majored in Painting and Graphic Arts (Armando Reverón Art Institute, Caracas) and mastered in Animation (Musashino Art University, Tokyo). Recently settled in Barcelona, Spain. She lived many years in Tokyo, Japa, and has a passion for Japanese culture, paper, and patterns. Laura has illustrated a dozen children's books and worked as the exclusive illustrator of a Design Studio in Tokyo for a long time. She creates her illustrations with paper cuts, prints of textured objects, materials, and all kinds of patterns. She is actually teaching Japanese to children and teenagers. Laura just illustrated the picture book, Soy la arepa, and is working on new projects with Clases Listas publishing to promote the Spanish Language as an Affective Language through reading.
