She has a Ph.D. from the Humanities/Cultural & Historic Preservation Departments at Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island and in 2018 the narrative porion of her dissertation titled The Public Artscape of New Haven: Themes in the Creation of a City Image, was published.
