In Lamen's Terms isn't just a name, it's a mission built on truth, accountability, and transformation. Lamen Simpson Sr. spent years trapped in cycles of abuse, anger, and emotional chaos. As a young man, he became an abuser, not because he didn'tcare, but because he hadn't yet learned how to manage his emotions, communicate without control, or take responsibility for his actions.

That pain led to consequences. Lamen served over 20 years in and out of jail for abusive behavior. During that time, he lost relationships, trust, and pieces of himself he didn't know he needed. But in confinement, he found something else, the opportunity to change.

While incarcerated, Lamen, By God's Will, made a decision: to stop running from himself and start confronting the truth. He began to pray, study, and examine the thoughts, habits, and emotional triggers that had once controlled him. Through prayer, therapy, reading, spiritual growth, and personal reflection, he started the long process of becoming someone new.
Today, Lamen lives a life of discipline and purpose. He studies daily to keep himself from returning to the abusive behavior
