L.A. Meredith is an award-winning author of three books and numerous essays, including a memoir that has been adapted into a TV movie. With three decades of experience in Alaska's justice system, she now calls East Tennessee home, where she servesas a professional speaker and adjunct faculty member at a local college. Passionate about resilience and recovery, she hosts the popular Persistence U Podcast, dedicated to helping others overcome trauma and embrace strength through the power of storytelling. She enjoys walking, reading, big screen movies, and connecting with her adult daughters and grandpets via FaceTime. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's in psychology.
